Application pool restart needed due to an Atlas App Error

questions

Hello,

We use Atlas as a support site for our software. Today we got an Atlas App Error when we tried to browse to our support site. This is the third time this happens. When we browse to our Atlas application the errors.axd page opens. See attached the error that was send to our mailadress after opening our Atlas application. We had to restart the application pool in order to fix this error. After restarting the application pool we could use our Atlas application again. Is this a known problem?

Regards,

Arne

We have not seen this before and are investigating it. Which version of Atlas are you running?

Sorry, for the late response, I didn't see a notification that you had replied to my question. The Atlas version we use is version 2.1.0.3271

Arne

How often does your app pool recycle?

Hello,

Sorry I didn't see your reply yet. We recycle every 29 hours (default configuration of the recycle time). Last thursday we had the same issue again. I was not in the situation to recycle the application pool manually. After one day the site was available again. So this corresponds to the recycling period.

The url of our Atlas project is http://support.futurama.eu/. We got the same error again when we browsed to this url. It appeared that this error not occurs when we directly browse to the url with the documents: http://support.futurama.eu/documents.

Regards,

Arne
