General Settings

 

Users that are logged into Atlas with administrative privileges will see the site administration link, labelled "settings" in the top right hand corner of the screen (to the right of the user ID). Clicking on this link takes the user to the Site Admin pages where the following options can be set.

Site Title

Set the title of your Atlas Site, usually to indicate its subject matter

 

Footer Line 1

Text to display on line 1 of the footer

 

Footer Line 2

Text to display on line 2 of the footer

 

Maximum Tags on Question

Maximum number of tags that can be attributed to a single question

 

Maximum Tags on FAQ

Maximum number of tags that can be attributed to a single FAQ

 

Maximum Tags on Docs

Maximum number of tags that can be attributed to a single document

 

Maximum Tags in Picker

Maximum number of tags to show in a list that users pick tags from

 

Maximum Tickets in Picker

Maximum number of Gemini support tickets to show in a list that users pick tickets from

 

Default language

Locale language setting (default “en-US”)

 

Default Time Zone

For date/time stamps specify the time zone of your Atlas instance

 

Administrator Email

Specify a valid email address for the administrator of the site

 

Enable API

Select to enable the Atlas API

 

New users require email confirmation

Select to have new users receive an email that will require them to confirm their Id

 

Enable Open Id Authentication

Switch on OpenID authentication

 

Enable Regular Authentication

Switch on regular authentication

 

Enable Facebook Authentication

Switch on Facebook authentication

 

Facebook App Id

If Facebook Authentication then the Facebook App Id to use

 

Feed Title

Title for the RSS feed for subscribers to the Atlas instance who use RSS feed readers
